FxTT Tools & Prop Firm Compatibility

Every FxTT product is designed to work within the rules of major prop trading firms. Here is exactly what is allowed and why.

Prop trading firms β€” including FTMO, MyFundedFX, The Funded Trader, and E8 Funding β€” evaluate third-party tools carefully. We have tested every FxTT product against the most common rule sets so you know what you can and cannot use during your challenge or funded phase.

Trendline PRO EA

Trendline PRO EA uses pending orders (Buy Stop / Sell Stop) and closes positions at defined TP/SL levels. It does not use grid, martingale, or latency arbitrage strategies β€” the three techniques most commonly banned by prop firms.

Equity Tracker is a monitoring indicator, not an EA. It does not open, modify, or close trades. It reads account equity in real time and triggers visual and audio alerts when configurable thresholds are approached.

General Compatibility Rules

MT4 / MT5 Broker Connections

All FxTT tools run on the standard MetaTrader connection layer. No proprietary bridges or low-latency feeds are used, so there are no connectivity-related rule violations.

No Prohibited Strategies

FxTT products do not use martingale, grid, averaging, tick scalping, latency arbitrage, or high-frequency techniques. Every strategy is trend-following or rule-based with defined risk per trade.

News & Drawdown Filters

Built-in news filters and drawdown stops let you align EA behaviour precisely with your firm's trading-during-news and daily-loss-limit rules without manual intervention.

VPS Compatibility

All tools run stably on standard Windows VPS environments (Windows Server 2012 R2 and later). No root access or custom kernel modules are required.
